Last weeks we have been working on assembling a completely new printed robot featuring in our new project movie. In the movie we show entering the grid through an entry-lock and moving through a sharp T subsequently. See the movie on youtube below:
Pirate appeared in an item on Dutch national television: Tijd voor Meldpunt!, April 17th, Omroep Max
The 3D printed robot has been shown at the RapidPro, a fair for rapid prototyping and product development, March 3-5 in Veldhoven. University of Twente is currently developing and researching 3D print technology, but also utilizing it for rapid development cycles such as being deployed in the PIRATE development project.
